22 weeks

22 weeks already! I cannot believe that I am over halfway there. I went to the BIG ultrasound but did NOT find out this time. It was really hard not to look when she went down below and actually found out. But I really did not want to know without Joe and we just think it will be so exciting to find out in the delivery room. My belly is out there! All is going well but it is a lot more exhausting chasing around a toddler while being pregnant. Luke also likes to rough house so I need to start being a little more careful. He's always kicking the baby by accident but the baby kicks right back! My gut feeling is that the baby is another boy. He/she had the same heartbeat as Luke (138-142). But we shall see in October. 4 more months to wait and see!

14 weeks or so?

Wow how different this pregnancy has been. I don't have my photographer Joe around to take pictures so I'm winging it on my own. Here is me at about 14 weeks I think. I took these before Joe came back from his first trip. I feel pretty good so far and can't complain. I may have been a little more nauseous this time around but that is about the olny difference so far. Oh and I am showing way more since my stomach muscles aren't as tight I guess.

Joe and I are expecting again! Yikes! Luke and his little brother/sister will be 21 months apart. We're so excited! It's going to be a long time waiting since Joe will be gone for most of the pregnancy but he will be home for awhile after the baby arrives. Thank goodness!

So this little one will join the world the first week in November :) I'll post some pics once I actually start to show again. I'm very tired so far since I chase Mr Luke around all day long. But it's keeping me busy and in great shape. It's going to be a fun ride!

38 weeks!

So we're about 2 weeks away from meeting our little bundle of joy :)The countdown is on and the anticipation is so very exciting!!! Hopefully this will be my last picture...any day now! He popped out even farther which I didn't think was possible.

36 weeks!

My belly is large and in charge! ha! 4 more weeks to go! I've reached the uncomfortable phase and I'm really ready for this little one to get here :) Small tasks are now getting much harder. Baby Luke should be over 6 pounds by now and about 18.5 inches long. He has the hiccups all the time and is still kicking and moving a bunch.

Here's a few pictures of the nursery. We're still getting a few last minute things like a changing table and some wall decor but this should give you a pretty good idea. Thanks to everyone we have filled the room! Hopefully Luke likes green :)

34 Weeks!!!

Oh my!!! We only have 6 more weeks to go :) Hopefully he'll come right on time or early. If he's late that's ok too but we just can't wait for him to get here. Joe and I went to Target yesterday to get all of the last minute things we need like a car seat, a stroller and diapers! I was having dreams that he was here and I didn't have anything so now we're all set. This is me today at 34 weeks! Luke is now about 5 pounds and 18 inches long. The little guy is still moving like crazy and I'm sure he'll be an active one once he gets here. Yay!

We are so fortunate to have to many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, family & friends! Joe and I were thrilled that so many people could come to celebrate our baby boy with us. I had a great time and I hope everyone else did too. Here's a few pictures of the fun! We are now almost ready for Luke to get here. We received so many awesome presents for him and his nursery is coming along nicely :) I will add pictures once it's finished. He'll be here in less than 10 weeks! Oh my!

29 Weeks!

Big difference since last picture! HUGE! My belly is definitely out there for all to see. Just 11 more weeks to go(hopefully) until we get to meet our little baby boy. If you have not heard we are planning on naming him Luke! Right now he is almost 3 pounds and more than 16.5" long. Talk about a big boy :)

Ok..ok...in these pictures I don't really look as big as I feel. I think that in person my belly is MUCH bigger than it is in these photos. But here I am at 25 weeks and 3 days :) Right now our little guy is anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 pounds and is around 9" long crown to rump.

I hope everyone can make it to our party/baby shower over Thanksgiving weekend. Look for the invites in the mail soon if you haven't gotten it already! I'm sure I'll be WAY bigger by then. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

23 Weeks!

Our baby boy is now 23 weeks old :) He's kicking and moving around all the time now. He's about 1 pound and over 8 inches long crown to rump. Today was the first time that people asked me when I was due. I had 2 people ask in the same store so I must be looking pretty preggo!

Joe and I found out this morning that we are having a little baby boy! We are so thrilled! Joe knew it all along I guess. Here are a few of the sonogram pictures:

20 Weeks!

In one week and one day we will know if we are having a boy or a girl!!! Sooo exciting! I still feel great and am proud to announce that I am half way there! Baby Lamphere is about 10.5" including his/her little legs. It used to be measured crown to rump but now the legs are included. He/she is as big as a large banana! One of my favorite fruits :) So here's the belly. People still have no clue but it's soooo obvious to me.

It's getting bigger...

I'll definitely update it next week with the new sonogram pics! And the verdict!!!

17 Weeks!

So I have a belly...at least I think so! I'm 17 weeks along and Baby Lamphere is now about 5". They say if you spread your hand out he/she would fit right on the palm of it. The baby now weighs about 5 ounces but I have no idea why I've gained WAY more than that. Just kidding..I know there are many of reasons! I still feel good and I can even manage to stay up after 10:00PM! Check back soon :)

15 weeks!

Here come the mommy pants! I mean maternity pants :) I'm much more comfortable sporting my new flexible waistband..haha. Today is my first day wearing maternity jeans so I guess it really is official. There's a baby in there and it's making my belly get bigger. Right now Baby Lamphere is about 4" and is roughly the size of an apple. I will start to feel him/her wiggle around in there pretty soon!
We get to find out the baby's sex on October 1st so make sure to get your vote in before then! We cannot wait!!

Hey Everyone! I'm now 12 weeks along. I sort of have a little bump but only I would really notice it so far. The baby is just over 2 inches and is about as big as a lime. I'm sure I'll really be growing soon :)

I found this cartoon and thought it was pretty funny!

So yes....We're pregnant! I'm only 7 weeks along but I already feel fuller around my waist. I think I'm just retaining a lot of water :) I feel pretty good otherwise so I can't complain. We haven't told our families yet and I am dying to share the news! We're so excited and cannot wait to meet our little boy/girl on or around February 10th, 2009. Joe already bought the baby a Tiger's onesie and he bought himself a dad book. Awwww! He's going to be such a good daddy :)
